Barbados Clubs...
Squash is quite popular in Barbados, with over 200 men, women and kids actively playing the sport.
Each year the Sunbeach Barbados Open attracts regional and world-ranked players to the island for a week of sun, fun, squash and prize money. Also, the Toshiba Junior Tournament and the Riverbay Seniors offer juniors and seniors a chance to compete and meet persons from all over.
If you enjoy squash, bring your gear - one of the pros at either club will set you up with a player of similar standard.
There are two main clubs on the island:
Pleasant Place Squash ClubDated: 17 April 2006Pleasant Place Squash Club is a small, friendly club that despite having only one court, still manages to attract many of the island's top players.
Barbados Squash ClubDated: 17 April 2006The club has three international squash courts, two of which are glass-backed. There is a lounge area with T.V., video, stereo, couches, dominoes/cards tables and a small gym.
