The WSF has revised the Marker’s announcement at 10-all in PAR to 11

The new “Official” scoring system for squash – i.e. point-a-rally to 11 (PAR to 11) – becomes effective worldwide on April 1, 2009. With this in mind the WSF Referees and Rules Committee has made the following slight change to the Marker”s announcement when the score reaches ten all (10-all):

? there will no longer be any reference to “tiebreak”
? the Marker shall announce “Ten-all – a player must win by 2 points” and shall do so each and every time the score reaches 10-all during a match

Therefore, in each match, each time the score reaches 10 all, the Marker shall announce:

?Ten all ? a player must win by two points.?

After that, the score shall be announced as follows:
?11-10, game ball? (or match ball, as appropriate)
?11 all?
?12-11, game ball? (or match ball, as appropriate)
?13-11, game to ?.? (or match to …, as appropriate), etc.

The game score shall then be recorded with the actual number of points scored (?13-11? in this example) or ?15-13? or ?22-20?, as the case may be.

[N.B. Two revised blank scoresheets, using the horizontal and the vertical formats (in Excel) can be downloaded and modified for your own tournament requirements. These scoresheets will print landscape or portrait on on 8-1/2 x 11″ paper. See below for the links].
