The conclusion of the Junior CASA Championships held this year at home in Barbados saw the Barbados team clinching the championship after winning both the Boys and Girls team events.
The team, sponsored in large part by the Barbados Olympic Association, was comprised of youngsters between the ages of 10 and 18 who spent six days battling for both individual and team honors at this annual tournament. Along with the host country, the local team came up against squads from Guyana, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, OECS, Venezuela and Jamaica.
