In the beginning the name was Barbados Fire and General Insurance, then it became Barbados Fire and Commercial Insurance. Now the name is Sagicor General but despite the name changes the commitment to squash has remained steadfast and undiminished.
The Barbados Squash Rackets Association (BSRA) is delighted therefore to announce that the Junior National Squash Championships that were first contested in Barbados in 1979 will once again be sponsored by Sagicor General. This resolute support of squash over the past 30 years is very much appreciated and is likely to showcase a new generation of shining lights in this increasingly popular sport in Barbados.
Entry forms for the Sagicor General Junior National Squash Championships are available at the local squash clubs or can be downloaded by scrolling to the bottom of this page. The tournament will serve off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday April 25th and will continue all Saturday and end on Sunday afternoon, April 27th.
The traditional age groups for the boys and girls will be as follows: Under-11: U-13; U-15; U-17 and U-19. The age groups are the same for both the girls and the boys. There is also no entry fee charged to paid up junior members of the BSRA.
