Competition has begun in the 26th edition of the Sagicor General Junior National Squash Championships which is being played this weekend at the Barbados Squash Club (BSC) from April 7th to 9th.
The top two seeds in each contested age group are as follows:
Boy’s Under-11: #1 Matthew Hutchinson, #2 Mikey Cox.
Boy’s Under-13: #1 Moishe Steinbok, #2 Maarten Edwards.
Boy’s Under-15: #1 Liu Ross, #2 Jonathan O’Dowd.
Boy’s Under-17: #1 Nkosi Ross, #2 Jonathan O’Dowd.
Boy’s Under-19: #1 Alex Garcia, #2 Nkosi Ross.
Girl’s Under-13: #1 Asha Gibbs, #2 Ashleigh Robinson.
Girl’s Under-15: #1 Tanya Marshall, #2 Kennilee Ward.
Girl’s Under-17: #1 Cheri-Ann Parris, #2 Bo Harris.
Girl’s Under-19: #1 Cheri-Ann Parris, #2 Bo Harris.
Competition began last night (Friday) and will continue on Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. with the last match, the girl’s under-17 final, scheduled to commence at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The trophy presentation ceremony will take place at the end of this final match. Admission to the BSC is free and spectators are welcome.
