The 2018 BiiG C.O.B Squash Open will be played from November 15th – 18th at the Barbados Squash Club, Marine Gardens, Hastings, Christ Church.
This year will see two new champions as our defending male and female champions are unavailable. A number of local players will once again be competing against our Caribbean neighbors St Vincent and the Grenadines. Local homeboy Shawn Simpson will be seeded No. 1 whilst St Vincent and the Grenadines player Kevin Bailey will be seeded No. 2.
Our ladies draw will be without Meagan Best, Amanda Haywood and Karen Meakins this year, but it will be keenly contested by the 2018 Junior CASA Girls team champions Jodi Smith-Padmore, Jada Smith-Padmore and Sumairaa Suleman. Also bringing her experience to the Open will be Lynn Decambra McLeod.
The 2018 BiiG C.O.B Squash Open promises to be four days of exciting, fast paced, high level display of skill and talent. So, join us as we continue to contribute to the development of sport in Barbados.
