The Barbados Squash Association conducts a junior programme which runs with the local public school terms. Sessions are held on Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm at the Barbados Squash Club, Marine Gardens, Hastings, Christ Church. The program caters to children from as young as 7 years old up to 18 years old. This program is used to develop squash skills of all juniors and is used as an avenue to assess the development of young talent. Young players are required to wear non-marking court shoes and bring their safety goggles and racquets. However, rackets and goggles are provided for those who may not have their own. BSA/NSC SUMMER CAMP
The Barbados Squash Association in conjunction with the National Sports Council host an annual summer camp during the months July through August.
The camp runs for six weeks Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Camp forms are distributed by the National Sports Council, feel free to contact the office of the NSC for more information.
The summer camp is designed to meet the needs of children between ages 10 through 16.
Whether you are a beginner, you are playing for leisure or you wish to improve your technique and develop your skills.
The camp also offers exciting outdoor activities to ensure your squash experience is a memorable one.
Squash Easter Camp 2016
RISING STARS 2016 EASTER SQUASH CAMP A ROUSING SUCCESS
Junior Squash Players spent their Easter Holiday engaged in an exciting squash camp conducted by Coach Rhett Cumberbatch at the Barbados Squash Club. The camp was held from the 30th March to 8th April 2016 and attracted about 15 juniors. The camp involved a variety of activities including knowledge building exercises and self-development sessions. Campers also enjoyed a number of team-building initiatives and look forward to future similar programs to recruit more squash players.

Barbados win Overall 2015 Senior CASA Title!
Karen Meakins was crowned Ladies Individual Champion, while Barbados won the Overall Team Event in Cayman Islands in August.
Barbados does splendidly at Junior CASA 2015!
Action kicked off with the Individual Championships, where Barbados brought home a record breaking haul of five gold medals and one silver medal out of the eight age group events contested, a feat never before achieved in the 33 year history of these Junior CASA Championships! Barbados also took the Girl’s Team Championship Title in impressive fashion and came second in the Boy’s Team event, but were pipped to the Overall Team title by junior squash powerhouses, Guyana, who claimed their 11th successive Overall Team trophy. Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to all sponsors and supporters.
